Storytelling through Cut Paper with reCreate Featured Artist Katie Knoeringer

Sunday, September 20th, 1:00-3:00

At this reCreate workshop, participants will tell a story in one image by layering paper cuttings, textures, transferred drawings, photos, and paper shapes. Bring your story ideas with you! Participants will learn to transfer photographic and drawn images into cut paper shapes. We will cut and layer various colored and textured paper to create images. Each participant will leave with one image that is representative of a story they’d like to tell. 

$5 participation fee

The Resource Exchange will provide basic collage materials including:
glue, scissors, tape, blank paper, construction paper, pens, pencils, markers, some paint, and brushes. Participants can purchase additional textured, designed, and other papers or frames for their work from our vast warehouse of reclaimed materials the day of the workshop!
