FSS Theatre ‘Metamorphoses’ + Salvaged Scenery Columns

Friends Select School Theatre department’s latest production Metamorphoses is opening this weekend and features two major set pieces from the re! Metamorphoses is based on the myths of Ovid, originally written and directed by Mary Zimmerman.         Max Budnick, FSS Technical Theatre Director, found these salvaged scenery columns and we think they were the perfect addition for the mythological narrative!  The FSS Theatre department gave our salvaged columns a new life with just a fresh coat of gold paint! The Resource Exchange + UArts

Our friends at The University of the Arts Nick and Janet Embree came into the store looking for some extra set decorations for their upcoming production of Kiss Me Kate. They walked out with a whole lot of our reclaimed Ivy Bunches with which they plan on “greening” the set. The classic musical based on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew will be showing at the Merriam Theatre on Broad Street beginning Thursday March 27th and running until the 30th.
