HOLDEN + The Resource Exchange

  We’re glad that we were able to supply reused building materials for an exciting new production that’s playing in Philadelphia this October. The crew from George & Co. came into The Resource Exchange to find some reclaimed materials to support their production, HOLDEN, which is playing at FringeArts October 8th-17th. The team was able to use a lot of building supplies that we salvaged from the strikes other local artistic productions. HOLDEN uses plywood and 2x4s that The Resource Exchange saved from the set of a major motion picture that was shot recently in Philadelphia. The Resource Exchange + FringeArts (Tribe of Fools)

Tribe of Fools uses salvaged items from The Resource Exchange in their upcoming FringeArts production, Two Street – A Tale of Star Crossed Mummers. Set designer Chris Haig (and July 2014 reCreate Featured artist) picked up a whole bunch of old framed coats of arms (just like these ones- still available in the store!) for the set of this new piece of theatre.   Here’s more about the show: Two Mummers brigades, both alike in dignity.
