Local Artist Benjamin Howard’s Murals Using Reclaimed Paint

Local artist Benjamin Howard creates large scale murals throughout the city, often using reclaimed paint and other materials found at the re. “For several years I had a studio at Sharktown a few blocks from the Resource Exchange. I picked up some great stuff during that time, but most importantly a well priced 5 gallon of Kelly green. The Resource Exchange Gets a Mural by Chroma Dolls!

We’re incredibly happy to have Chroma Dolls painting a new mural on the side of our building! Chroma Dolls was chosen to represent Philly in partnership with Beautify Earth and Zappos in a 10 city, 10 mural, 10 core value project.  The design of the mural represents the theme that was assigned to Philly: building a positive team and family spirit. “The goals of this project are to put an end to blighted walls by empowering artists, encouraging social responsibility, and instilling community pride.” We’re thrilled that Chroma Dolls chose The Resource Exchange wall and corner to creatively express togetherness and brighten up … Continue reading
