Concrete Cowboys + reuse in Philadelphia!

The Resource Exchange recently received a donation from Concrete Cowboys! Concrete Cowboys is an upcoming film directed by Ricky Staub based on the 2011 novel Ghetto Cowboy by Greg Neri, which was inspired by the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club. reUse + Small Cricket Farm in Philly

Crosby Lyon came into the re this weekend and found sustainably sourced insulation for his small cricket farm called Cricket and Cork (follow on FB!). Cricket and Cork, Crosby says, “is right now focusing on raising crickets as a low energy and resource-efficient alternative to meat for human and pet consumption. I raise the crickets in containers housed on shelves, which I have insulated on four sides with the front covered in thick clear plastic. Inside is a heater and at least one humidifier. Penn Museum + The Resource Exchange!

The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology is currently undergoing an exciting Building Transformation. The renovations are providing the museum a chance to change up displays in their galleries and clean out uneeded materials. While they don’t need these materials now, they are still reusable, so of course, they contacted The Resource Exchange.
