Concrete Cowboys + reuse in Philadelphia!

The Resource Exchange recently received a donation from Concrete Cowboys! Concrete Cowboys is an upcoming film directed by Ricky Staub based on the 2011 novel Ghetto Cowboy by Greg Neri, which was inspired by the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club. Teatro del Sol + reuse on set!

We were so excited when Teatro del Sol came to the re for materials for the set of their latest production, Good Cuban Girls by Iraisa Ann Reilly and Directed by Jose Aviles! Salvaged Vinyl – creative reuse on stage at Arcadia University Theater!

Shout out to Arcadia University Theater, and Managing Director of Theater Arts/Production, Visual and Performing Arts, Robert Napoli for sending us photos of how they transformed our salvaged vinyl banner fabric instead of buying new!  The vinyl banners were donated from Penn Museum from Mayor Kenney’s Unity Cup! A World Cup-style tournament held over several months, the Philadelphia International Unity Cup unites the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer.  One of their talented students, and re customer Laura Bonacci created scenic pieces for the Eager Beaver Inspirational Poster contest in their production of the Tony Award-winning comedy, … Continue reading
