Student Art Using Reclaimed Fabric!
Local Artist Aimee Lin has been working with students from the Lingelbach Elementary after school program to make quilts and a woven fabric mural; all made from reclaimed fabric found at the re!
The quilt says, "You change the world by being yourself", a Yoko Ono quote!
"I wanted to say thank you to The Resource Exchange for providing the materials! I just recently went back to you guys to get more fabric for this Spring's quilt making project for Henry C Lea Elementary and am excited to see what they make."
In 2019, we kept over 4,000lbs of fabric out of local landfills. Seeing materials kept in the community and implemented in the creative practice of young people, it's an absolutely beautiful thing!
