Summer Sheath Dress!

cutting-out-pattern

Sam Wittchen recently bought some patterned fabric at the store.  You can read about the process of how she made this beautiful summer sheath dress out of it (with fabric to spare!) on her blog, MANFA!  Not only is the dress fabulous, but to top it off, Sam discovered a new fact about the fabric she found.  While wearing the dress out at a cafe over the weekend, another customer informed her that the pattern on the dress is African.  The woman recognized the pattern as traditionally being from Liberia, her native country.  You never know what stories you’ll find in items we have here at the Resource Exchange.  Thanks for sharing, Sam, can’t wait to see what you make next!
