NELCO Architecture, Inc. + The Resource Exchange

This week, we received a donation from international design and consulting firm NELSON. NELCO Architecture, Inc., the firm’s Philadelphia branch, has offices on Walnut Street in Old City.

It’s always refreshing to get a call from a responsible design firm trying to find a home for what they no longer need! Since they are reorganizing their space, they decided our creative clientele could use some of their interesting items. In addition to a fantastic collection of architecture and interior design material samples, they donated four flatfiles in great condition.

Dennis wheels a flatfile out of the office.

In our shop, we use flatfiles like these to hold theatre and film drawings, paper, foamcore, and matboard. They are a great way to keep paper and flat goods safe, organized, and accessible. Perfect for anyone who draws, drafts, or prints — and for lots of other folks, too!

Loading the flatfiles onto the truck.

We know what you’re thinking and yes, the four flatfiles are for sale! Each stackable five-drawer unit is just under 36″x48″x16″ — we can’t wait to see what you do with them! If you use one and send us a picture, we’ll share it with our friends at NELCO Architecture so they can see how their partnership with us positively impacted the creative community. Thanks for the donation, NELSON!
