The Walnut Street Theatre + The Resource Exchange

[one_third]6259664597_334891f274_o[/one_third][two_thirds_last]The Walnut Street Theatre has both used reclaimed supplies from The Resource Exchange to help build their sets and donated reusable materials to our store.  The staircase on the left, for instance, was painted using salvaged paint from us. The Walnut produces 5 mainstage, 5 studio, and 5 children’s productions every year, each with its own sets, props, and costumes. With that amount of production, there can also be a lot of waste, so technical director Dan Schultz collaborates with us when they have reusable materials that they can’t keep. Though the Walnut has donated scenery large and small, some of our favorite items they’ve given us include the train car from “White Christmas” (currently set up in our store!) and rolls of theatrical scenic paper from which we are able to make unique greeting cards.
