Calvary Chapel: A Spotlight on Sustainability

Local church, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, recently hosted “The Faith Playbook” an event encouraging a dialogue between Philadelphia professional football players and the thousands of viewers throughout the country. The event was one of the largest ever hosted by Calvary Chapel. Salvaged Set Materials in Local School Production of Macbeth!

Here at the re, many of our customers are teachers…and they’re always reusing the materials we’ve salvaged in creative ways!   One local teacher, Meghan, found fabric and a ton of cardboard tubes (which are in endless supply here, and only 50¢!) and knew they’d be the perfect materials for her school’s upcoming production of Macbeth. From Film to Theater – Found Fringe Style!

Found Theater Company often uses salvaged, reclaimed, and reused materials to make the sets and props of their productions, photo shoots, and video trailers. Not only is the reuse of material more economical for a smaller company, but it’s also way better for the environment than buying new.
