Creative Reuse with The Fabric Workshop and Museum Family Programs!

On Friday, June 29th, teens used reclaimed materials from The Resource Exchange for The Fabric Workshop and Museum‘s Teen Program: Feeling Free! A patch making activity inspired by Ursula von Rydingsvard’s collaboration with The Fabric Workshop and Museum, PODERWAĆ, 2017, a monumental-sized leather motorcycle jacket. We’re thrilled that the art and craft supplies that we diverted from landfill are being reused by such a great arts and education organization. FWM will continue promoting creative reuse in their educational programs by supplying workshop participants with reclaimed materials from our store during their next workshop too! Family Program: Feeling Fun!

Saturday, July 21, 2018, 1:00-3:00 pm

Join us to explore The Fabric Workshop and Museum’s current exhibition Ursula von Rydingsvard: The Contour of Feeling and engage in an afternoon of art making activities. Children and adults will have the opportunity to make a jacket patch out of felt, sparkly accessories and screen printing. Families will also receive a guided tour of the exhibition. Fun refreshments will be served!
