Salvaged Set Materials in Local School Production of Macbeth!

Here at the re, many of our customers are teachers…and they’re always reusing the materials we’ve salvaged in creative ways!

One local teacher, Meghan, found fabric and a ton of cardboard tubes (which are in endless supply here, and only 50¢!) and knew they’d be the perfect materials for her school’s upcoming production of Macbeth. Check out the students creating the spooky set from reclaimed materials!

“The story of Macbeth takes place in a forest and for our design, we made it a ghost forest where the witches lurk. The tubes I received from The Resource Exchange allowed us to create trees and branches that established the creepy, eerie vibe Macbeth has. The students enjoyed getting to paint, cut, tape, and glue all of these together. It truly made them feel like the play was theirs!”

Thanks to Meghan and her students for sharing their creative reuse story with us!
