new hope sound of music 2New Hope Academy’s David Boyd comes into The Resource Exchange before beginning to build every student play. He looks for reused and reclaimed options for lumber and other building materials, and often brings his students along as a way to teach them about building and creative reuse. David’s visited the re for NHA’s last 4 shows: Fiddler on the Roof, Cheaper by the Dozen, Hairspray, and 12 Angry Jurors. new hope sound of music w:kids1David figured out a way to use theatrical flats and a lot of lumber that we had previously saved from the sets of two different major motion pictures that were shot in Philly.
